Cardinal John Henry Newman will on Sunday the 13th of October be canonized by Pope Francis, in a ceremony in St Peter’s Square in Vatican City. The chaplaincy and its community will celebrate this occasion at our Sunday mass.
Mass will be followed by refreshments, booklets and a talk on the life and work of the leader of the Oxford Movement and the founder of the Catholic University of Ireland, today UCD.
