On Friday May 22nd, at 18H00 in the Chapelle Saint Patrick, there will be a Latin Mass with the Irish pilgrims coming for the annual Chartres Pentecost pilgrimage.
The pilgrimage leaves Paris the next morning, Saturday 23rd at 09H00 from Notre Dame Cathedral. All are welcome.
The Pentecost Walking Pilgrimage from Paris to Chartres is in honour of Our Lady, from Notre Dame Cathedral Paris to Notre Dame Cathedral Chartres, which takes place from the 23rd to the 25th of May. Over 15,000 pilgrims are expected to walk 100 kms over 3 days.
On Saturday 23rd May, the Pilgrimage will start with High Latin Mass at 07H00 in Notre Dame Cathedral Paris. (People attending the mass need to arrive by 06H00)
The Mass at Notre Dame Cathedral will be followed by joyful musical carnival departure through the streets of Paris.
On Monday 25th May (Whit Monday) at 13H00 the pilgrims will arrive in Chartres to a further joyful musical carnival through the streets of Chartres followed by High Latin Mass at 15H00 in Notre Dame Cathedral Chartres
