Members of the Irish community in France have been involved in the translation and preparation of Mass readings in Irish that can now be sent out by email on a daily basis.
This is part of a ten year French initiative to have Mass readings available by email. Today, the readings are available on a daily basis to over 500,000 people in 14 languages including Irish, English and French.
A special thanks to the Paris based Irish community of Colm Ó Conghaille, Róisín Ann Ní Charthaigh, Derry O’Sullivan and Ciarán Mac Guill who gave their time to make this happen for the Irish version.
The French project team includes Soeur Florence (Community of Jerusalem on the Mont Saint Michel), Bertrand Couderc (information technology based in Paris) and Gregor Puppinck (organiser based in Strasbourg).
To receive the daily readings sign up for your preferred language by visiting the Soiscéal an Lae website at http://soiscealanlae.org
