Dear Friends
This Sunday, July 28, we shall celebrate the last Mass of this academic year. The Chaplaincy will then close until September 1.
I would encourage as many as possible to attend this Sunday as we give thanks to God for an historic and memorable year in the Chaplaincy.
We will also remember friends who have now left us to return to Ireland or to travel elsewhere and who have played a role in the life of the community this year. In a poignant way also, we will remember Mabel Sully and Sr Francis de Sales Sheridan who have left us to return to the Father’s House.
This has been a roller-coaster year with a Presidential visit and our Mass in Notre Dame. I hope that it will be remembered for the good that has come from these moments of celebrating and praying together!
Once again, a call to the troops to rally for the final time on Sunday!
On another level, the GAA have a major event in September. They need volunteers for the week-end of September 13-15 for a football tournament. If anyone can volunteer for any part of the week-end, please contact Eileen Jenning directly (chairperson.paris.europe@gaa.ie). I would encourage as many as possible to volunteer for this big event!
Best wishes once again!
God bless!
Sean
