During Lenten period the Irish Chaplaincy of Paris supported the Trócaire Lenten campaign. This year sees the 40th anniversary of Trócaire – the official overseas development agency of the Catholic Church in Ireland.
This year our Lenten contribution to Trócaire came to a total of €464-13. This has now been forwarded to Trócaire.
Thanks to all who contributed to this. Most of the money came from the collections on the Sunday coffee table. Thanks to you all for your generosity.
With your kind help Trócaire will be able to continue its work of making a substantive difference in the lives of the poor and under privileged in India (and in other countries) that have the greatest needs.
