Between 1996 and 1999, Jim worked on essential infrastructure projects such as schools, roads, and water systems in Cambodia and Burundi. It was during his time in Burundi that his life took a profound turn—he experienced a calling to the priesthood, a moment that became the ultimate “turning point” in his life.
